This is our very first Sister Sunday post and it’s so exciting to share this with you. It has always been super important to Kahla and I that we try to get together at least once a month and have a “sister” day. Full disclosure we are not in fact related, but we have been friends for 10 years now and consider ourselves family. I could go on and on about how wonderful of a person Kahla is but I will just say that she came into my life when I most needed a friend like her and I am forever grateful that she did.
If you have ever been to Seattle before then you know just how amazing Pikes Place market is and when we finally caught some sunshine we knew we had to take advantage and go.
There are some seriously amazing flower arrangements that come out of this place but since we are in the middle of winter the arrangements that we see at this time are usually dried flowers. Still beautiful, but stay tuned for spring because we will definitely be going back.
Besides gorgeous flower arrangements the market is the perfect place to find fresh produce. The colors and size of all these organic fruits and vegetables is always so mesmerizing to me.
It was a little bit of a chilly day but we sure did have fun being “tourists” in our city.
If you haven’t yet you need to make the trip here, and for those of you who already live here make sure to play tourist for a day and remind yourself of why we are one of the most beautiful cities!
