Henry’s Tavern Bellevue

Even though Kahla and I blog together we also both work full time jobs and juggle a social life. Add in two other people (our significant others) and getting the four of us together can sometime be challenging. We were so excited when Henry’s Tavern in Bellevue invited us out to dinner because it gave us all the perfect excuse to get together and enjoy a much needed double date. We don’t make it to the East Side (Bellevue) as often as we would like but when we do, we are always reminded why we love it so much. Henry’s Tavern is located in Lincoln Square and has plenty to do around it. Bellevue square mall is across the street so if you are up for some serious shopping before your lunch or dinner you have come to the right place. We were also so exited to see there was a cinema across the way and during dinner we really considered staying longer and catching a movie.

From the moment we walked into the restaurant everyone was so friendly and helpful. We had reservations right in the middle of game four of the NBA finals, so as you can imagine the place was very packed. Even with it being so busy our food and drinks came out in great time. There is nothing worse then a slow kitchen and this wasn’t the case at Henry’s. We started with some cocktails and appetizers. We highly recommend the Gorgonzola fries! Since leaving I have been wanting to have just a couple more. We also had a crab and avocado sushi roll that was outstanding. The menu had plenty of choices from healthy to hearty and some comfort food favorites. This place really works for anyone. Three of us ended up having the Rib Eye steak with a Parmesan brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes and one decided on the Curry Mussels. Both meals were very good. There were so many other things on the menu that looked delicious and we can’t wait to go back and try them all out.

We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone living in Seattle or visiting. You won’t be disappointed by the food or service and the prices were very reasonable too. A huge thank you to the Henry’s Tavern team for having us out and we can’t wait come back and see you guys again.

XOXO, SOS
