I (Rechelle) am Engaged! I will get into details about that on another post but had to share the good news! In celebration of our engagement and our two year anniversary Erik and I wanted to spend some quality time together without having to leave the city. We absolutely love LOVE Bellevue and especially W Hotels so it was an easy choice to cross the 520 and spend the weekend in one of our favorite places! Isn’t it the best when you don’t have to drive far to enjoy some luxury?
Upon Arrival, we were so excited and eager to enjoy all that the W has to offer. We have been to this property before for a party so we knew what to expect when it came to the common areas, but were blown away by the rooms. The decor had my designer heart in a flutter and I was walking from location to location showing Erik all the details that I was noticing. Our room was graciously upgraded to a suite to help us celebrate and it was so large that it had a powder room and even its own bar. We joked that we should have invited friends to hang out with us because it was the PERFECT entertaining space! The bedroom was also a dream. With a king size bed that was extremely comfortable to the large soaking tub I wanted to book an extra day just to enjoy it longer. If you feel like these photos don’t do it justice go check out my travel highlights! The videos don’t lie.
Something that we absolutely love about W Hotels – besides its amenities – is its location. With shops and restaurants literally right outside the door you are sure to have endless amounts of entertainment. Not to mention Bellevue Square Mall is right across the street. BUT if you are like us and came to relax don’t worry, you don’t have to leave the property to enjoy different types of food and drinks. You can even curl up in the library and enjoy a book or 100! We ended up playing a quick game of pool in the living room and enjoying a drink fireside before we went out to dinner. Now I wasn’t kidding when I said there was endless amounts of options. So many so, that Erik and I did a food crawl. If you have never done this before I highly recommend it. You go from restaurant to restaurant ordering a small plate or two until you become full. This allows you to try new places and not be limited to one. We love doing this and always end it feeling very full AND happy.
When we returned back to our room to finish up the night we were pleasantly surprised by the turn down service. The shades had been drawn, bed was ready to be climbed into and they even left us a little chocolate on the nightstand. The service at W Bellevue was impeccable and I highly recommend to stay there if visiting Seattle or just needing a little stay-cation like we did.
