Boosting Energy Levels with Hackemore Energy

We all know that life can get so busy sometimes, and if you are anything like me you have a hard time saying no to extra projects. I work 50 hours a week, go to school full time and co-write this blog. I always thought my parents were crazy when they would say there aren’t enough hours in the day. Now I totally understand where they were coming from and I constantly am looking for something that will pick me up. Well I finally found something to help me boost my energy that isn’t coffee. Random fact about me, I am not much of a coffee person. I know, crazy right? Let me tell you about my best kept secret… Hackamore. When I first heard about this brand I was immediately drawn to the sleek design of the bottle. Silly, but the design major in me always is drawn to things like this. I started to do some research because I am not a huge fan of energy drinks and truly believe that most of the products out there are so bad for you. I am always hesitant when it comes to what I put into my body and I can honestly say I feel very confident in this brand. Hackamore is a non-alcoholic, zero calorie (sugar free) natural caffeine drink. What I like most about it is that you only need to have 2 ounces of it. I prefer to add mine to my morning smoothie.  It has a really light lime flavor that blends really well with my fruit and veggie mix. The best part is that you could really mix it with anything. There are no side effects to this product and I was so happy that I didn’t feel a crash after my body had totally digested it. Morning Smoothie Recipe

2/3 cup plain Greek yogurt

1 ripe banana

2/3 cup frozen blackberries

2 large frozen strawberries

1 cup spinach leaves

1/2 cup milk of choice (dairy, coconut, soy, almond)

2 ounces Hackamore energy
