Janecke Wedding: All things fashion

It’s been almost two months since we got married and now that the dust has settled and the pictures are here I wanted to share some details with you from the most magical day of my life. I will go into detail on another post about all the vendors we chose and why, but I wanted to highlight some really amazing companies we worked with who helped supply the wardrobe for our big day!

A & Be’ Bridal: I loved my experience at this bridal boutique and highly recommend working with Maria! She was amazing, always made me feel so beautiful and helped with every step in finding my dream dress. They even flew in a dress from Australia just so I could try it on! The dress I chose is by Made with Love and its the style Riley Luxe in the color bone. Maria helped me pick a belt to add to the dress to make it a little more custom. I loved the style, the lace and the fact that it was really different from anything I have seen.

Lulus Weddings: If you have been following for a while now then you know I have this thing for Lulus! Their collection of clothes is amazing and the price point is even better. I knew when picking out bridesmaids dresses that I wanted mismatched dresses in a certain color scheme an that I wanted to let my bridmeaids pick out the style the wanted. With each beautiful woman having a different body type I couldn’t pick one dress that fit them all the same way. Lulus was always an obvious choice because their collection of dresses is huge and the price point is amazing! Most dresses range between $80 – $120 and in the bridal world that’s a steal. The best part is that like any other online store you get your dress within 3-7 business days and this was a huge win for my ladies because two of my girls had just had babies and weren’t sure what size they would be when the wedding rolled around. This allowed them to not feel pressured to fit into something and have lots of alterations done. The dresses we ended up going with were: All about love (in taupe), Song of Love (in blue grey), Heavenly hues (in light grey), Meterioric Rise (in slate blue).

Generation Tux: Want someone to send you a suit, make it super easy to try on get things fixed all without leaving your house and making trips to a suit shop? Generation Tux is your place then! They had so many options to choose from, great price points and incredible customer service. This service really worked well for us because we had multiple groomsmen who lived in different states, and with one easy click, I was able to send all of them an email with the link to the suit and all they had to do was fill out the questionnaire on their body type. You get the suit two weeks before the event and if it doesn’t fit all you have to do is call them, chat changes and then they will overnight you another one. We picked the slate blue suit and I loved the way they looked on all of the guys. My dad also wore Generation Tux in the color Iron Grey. His fit was perfect the first time and he was so happy he didn’t have to go get fitted at a suit shop.

Le Rose: When picking out getting ready outfits for myself and my bridesmaids I knew I wanted to gift them something that they would treasure for a long time. Picking Le Rose was a no brainer for me. I love that their styles are classic and feminine but can be customized to fit your theme and the style of your special ladies. Even though robes seem to be trending for weddings right now I went ahead and picked the Rosa Satin PJ Set because the look was beautiful and I know that the pajamas will be used for years to come, unlike a robe, at least in my opinion. They fit true to size, are made of beautiful silk and come packaged so pristine I didn’t need to steam them or even repackage them. My favorite part was being able to make them custom and to really make them extra special for my girls and me.

The Tie Bar: We went with The Tie Bar for many reasons, one being the price! Each Tie was around $20 and after searching high and low looking for ties I was impressed by the selection of patterns, colors and the fact that they are made incredibly well. It truly was a one-stop-shop for all the men in the wedding, our dads included! For Erik, we went with the Linen Row Tie ($19) in Sky Blue and I loved this option because there were so many colors to choose from and for the groomsmen we went with the Suitor Stripe Tie (only $19) the color we specifically chose is no longer available but the navy is also a great option.
