Seattle Staycation at The Paramount Hotel

I absolutely love taking the time to unwind and spend some quality time with Erik. We are both so busy that the moments we have free I really cherish the memories we get to make. I partnered with The Paramount Hotel to enjoy a staycation that  neither of us would forget. Upon arriving at the gorgeous hotel located downtown and next to The Paramount theater we were greeted with welcoming smiles and stunning interior. I love interior design and when a hotel goes above and beyond to make their space different then other hotels the little details definitely don’t go unnoticed. We were lucky enough to stay in the pent house suite and the views did not disappoint. We could see all the way down to the water and also had a view of the ever so famous Pike Place Market sign! The sitting room was my decorated in bold blues and yellows and had me wishing I could snag some of the decor for our living room. It was the perfect place to take a minute to enjoy the sunset over a glass of wine with my honey.

I could have stayed in their signature robe all night but we decided to sneak downstairs for a little happy hour instead at the Dragon Fish, which is the adjoining restaurant to the hotel. Their sushi was delicious and I highly recommend getting the Lychee Martini. We could have stayed for longer but decided to walk off our snack and take in some downtown life before retreating for the evening. The Paramount Hotel is a block away from Westlake Center and lots of shopping. Since Erik and I don’t venture downtown all that often we took full advantage of browsing the stores and people watching. We grabbed another quick bite to eat and headed back to the hotel to enjoy all the amenities in our room. First thing I did when we got back was run a bath. The on suite to the master was a girls dream – with a separate vanity, double sinks and soaking tub I knew I could spend way too much time in there if allowed. What is a bath without champagne? We ordered down for some bubbly and then I spent some time just pampering myself. I was definitely ready for bed after such a relaxing bath so I climbed in the king bed and turned on a movie. We slept like babies that night and woke up around 9am (which is sleeping in for me) and made some coffee and watched the world slowly wake up from the gorgeous view.

We decided we weren’t done downtown yet so we walked to the market and I grabbed some fresh flowers and of course more coffee. Saying goodbye to The Paramount Hotel was hard but it made us excited to go back soon. It’s Erik’s and my goal to do a staycation more often because that was the perfect relaxing weekend to get us ready for the work week.
