Seabrook: Dreamy Coastal City

On the southern coast of Washington lies the dreamiest town I have ever visited. Around a 3 hour drive (or 4 if you leave on a Friday afternoon!) southwest of Seattle a small town called Seabrook is located. Upon pulling up we were in awe by how cute Seabrook was. Photos and videos could never do this place justice. For the first couple of hours I had to pinch myself because I could not get over how dreamy and perfect this place was. The weather was perfect- sun was shining, sand was soft and the water was warm, it was hard to believe this place wasn’t heaven itself!

Once we checked in we drove up to our cute home called Miss B Haven. The home was decorated perfectly- there was no detail left that wasn’t flawlessly put together. On the bottom half of the home was the gorgeous kitchen we enjoyed coffee and breakfast in the mornings and dinner in evenings in. The living room had a cozy seating area with a fireplace that we lit in the evenings after the sunset. Upstairs is 3 bedrooms one with two twin beds connected to a jack and jill bathroom and adjacent is the adjoining room with a queen bed. The master had a king bed and en-suite bathroom and cozy robes. In the bathrooms there were baskets with items in the case you forgot any toiletries. Brenda, the owner of Miss B Haven, took no spare in the quality of product and items for her guests. Her thoughtful touches to the home and attention to detail in design really made her home stand out.

This kid and pet friendly town has everything you need to entertain everyone for the perfect getaway! There is a dog friendly park along with an indoor pool, shuffleboard, play area, easy forest trail hike, horses, and fire pits on every other block just to name a few. Central in the town is the picture perfect town hall where often weddings are held Friday and Saturday evenings. There are a couple of restaurants and a wine bar in town and a few more moving in as the town expands. We picked up groceries along the way in Olympia so we could cook at our cute home- the kitchen at Miss B Haven was to die for. There was also a local market in town with a small selection of product and a coffee shop inside. A few cute local boutique stores line the main street including a book store and Magnolias a new cute fashion boutique.

During the summer on Saturday’s there is a fun farmers market where you can pick up items from local vendors including the cutest flower truck! The beach has the softest sand that goes on forever and the water felt warm enough to play in. I could go on forever on why I love this place so much, but truly it should be seen for yourself. I will cherish the weekend we had while we are there and cannot wait to go back for another weekend soon!
